The new RDL range of HID and compact fluorescent round vandal resistant downlights offers an outstanding choice of high quality, long lasting, vandal and weather resistant light fittings.

Originally developed for the US market, the range of nine different fittings offers a wide choice of styles. They have proved particularly popular for illuminating ATM points (cash machines) and are ideal for use in any covered walkway where there is a possible risk of vandalism.

Heading up the range are the RDL downlighter and RHL wall wash effect fittings available with a clear prismatic, opal or clear polycarbonate anel or tempered glass or linear prism overlay.

The QDL downlighter and QHL wall wash effect fittings feature a cast aluminium trim ring with internal “steps”, while the ZDL and ZHL trim rings feature external steps.

The AZI fitting features an opal or clear polycarbonate drop dish diffuser held behind a cast aluminium frame, while the AZG fitting features and additional cast aluminium cross grille.

Completing the range is the DDL fitting, which matches a drop dish diffuser with an externally stepped glazing frame.

All RDL range fittings hae an IP55 weather resistance rating from below, and IK10++ rating for impact resistance under BS EN 50102:1995.
